Product tested by Yashoda.

Name of Product :

Vinoperfect Radiance Serum by Caudalie. 0.33 fl oz sample size. Made in France.

Unique Ingredients :

From Sephora’s website :

What it is:

A milky, lightweight serum designed to even the skin tone for a brighter complexion.

What it is formulated to do:

Highly concentrated with naturally powerful viniferine, this satiny serum reduces the appearance of existing dark spots, including acne and blemish marks, scars, and sun damage, to reveal a brighter, more even-toned complexion. The unique formula absorbs instantly and works well under makeup, creating flawless-looking skin.

Pros :

  • Smooth thin consistency, but not as thin as water
  • Gives radiance to the skin
  • Hydrating
  • No irritation or tingling
  • Can layer products over top
  • Oil-free

 Cons :

  • Very slightly sticky
  • Takes a little while to absorb into the skin
  • Smell takes getting used to
  • Did not lighten dark spots/scars

My Review :

3/5 stars due to lack of results that the company claims it can achieve. I would not repurchase. I used this product twice daily as part of my skincare routine – the sample size lasted approximately 3 weeks.

Packaging : very cute glass sample bottle with a dropper. I find that I need two dropper amounts to cover my entire face.

The product and application : smooth thin consistency but not as thin as water so it won’t run down your face. The scent is unique to Caudalie products but it does take awhile to get used to, I am not a fan of the smell. There is no irritation or tingling with this product. It did feel a little bit sticky especially since it takes a little longer than most gel-like serums to soak into the skin. This is different to what they claim – they say it absorbs easily and can be used under makeup. I definitely would not apply this under makeup!

Results : My skin feels hydrated and more radiant. I did not see a difference with my dark spots or acne scars. May need to use the product longer than 3 weeks to see a noticeable difference with spots/scars.

According to Caudalie website :

  • Tested and proven :
  • Contributes to dark spots disappearance for 70% of the patients*
  • 83% decrease in pigmentation intensity of dark spots*
  • * Conducted by 9 dermatologists on 60 patients during 3 months, on every skin type.
