Name of Product :

Dr. Logy Blemish Mask Sheet by TonyMoly. Made in Korea. 6 fl oz.

Unique Ingredients/Material :

Madecassoside : Centella asiatica, also known as Gotu Kola in the Ayurvedic world. It has been used for centuries in India due to its known benefits of controlling inflammation, stimulating the synthesis of collagen I and III and reducing the activity of enzymes (matrix metallo-proteins – MMPs) that contribute to the breakdown of the skin’s matrix or framework.

Betaine Salicylate : this is a BHA which is used to treat acne-prone skin. Salicylic acid has strong antibacterial action but what makes this unique, is that it is attached to sugar beet extract, which makes it gentle but still very effective for the skin.

Glycolic Acid : this is an AHA which is used to treat treating fine lines, acne, blackheads, dullness, oiliness etc. Because of it’s small molecule size, it is very good at penetrating deep into the skin, dissolving dead skin cells, reducing the size of pores and creating great skin exfoliation.

From TonyMoly website : Betaine Salicylate and Glycolic Acid, an effective AHA, helps fade acne scars and blemishes while also calming down and soothing irritated skin for a beautifully blemish-free complexion. Made with 100% natural plant-derived cellulose and contain our ‘nude seal’ technology which help make each mask fit seamlessly and cling comfortably onto the contours of the face so that your skin can receive the most effective delivery of the concentrated serum.

Pros :

  • Nice packaging – easy to open
  • Very very mild scent – was pleasant
  • No irritation or tingling
  • Extremely saturated mask – lots of serum
  • Soothing and cooling sensation
  • Great result – blemishes +50% reduced

Cons :

  • Cellulose mask is very thin and a little bit hard to apply – so thin that it is almost translucent and can see your skin beneath

My Review :

5/5 stars – I would definitely repurchase

Chosen because of blemish care – my skin went through high heat over weekend and now back home with lots of renovations and dust so my skin broke out with new spots :(.

Packaging : very was nice, bright and attractive. Easy to tear open.IMG_5382

Front of mask says the “pack is for blemished skin due to irritation makes rough skin feel smooth and healthy by removing dead skin cell from skin with its ingredient of Madecassoside.”

Back of mask is mainly in Korean language but small area on bottom is English which said it is a problem relieving mask for rough, blemished skin.

The product : Very very mild scent but pleasant and caused no irritation or tingling. The mask was extremity saturated and was dripping into my sink and hands as I was trying to apply it. It was also very thin – can see my skin through it. Satin feel to the skin, also soothing and cooling.

Kept on for 25 minutes

After removal : skin felt very hydrated- likely due to how much liquid was saturating the mask

Surprisingly though most of the liquid was absorbed into my skin and there was very little left to pat in. Not sticky at all.

Blemishes – appeared more minimal but not a huge difference immediately after removal

Next day : blemishes were 50% reduced! I didn’t expect such a good result but was very happy with it!

Where I purchased it? Cost?

I purchased this mask in Hong Kong. It retails for $4.95 on their US website.
