Name of Product :

Bombee Whitening Honey Sheet Mask by Papa Recipe. Made in Korea. 25g.

Unique Ingredients/Material :

Propolis Extract : This is a resinous material used by bees to seal small cracks and gaps in their hive. It has been used since ancient times for it’s healing properties especially in terms of infection, wounds and skin diseases.

Diamond Powder : This is used in skincare products to provide luminosity and radiance. It does so by reflecting light on the skin’s surface, creating a brighter appearance. It can also minimize the appearance of lines and pores due to it’s blurring effect.

Glutathione : This is quite an interesting one! It achieves the brightening effect by binding to tyrosinase, an enzyme in the pathway that produces melanin. In doing so, it also reduces the production of free radicals and overall reduces melanin production.

Pros :

  • One piece mask, fits face contours well
  • Very saturated with fluid
  • Amazing brightening results
  • Cooling on skin
  • No irritation or tingling while applied

Cons :

  • Not very moisturizing, left skin feeling dry
  • Strong honey scent – took a while to get used to
  • Sticky fluid left on skin

My Review :

⅘ stars – would repurchase but unsure why my skin felt dry after use?!IMG_5692.jpg

Packaging : Cute, simple, true to the brand – good consistency with packaging. Has English on the back, and provides easy instructions.

Product : Thin sheet mask, one piece, extremely well saturated in fact, it was dripping as I was applying it. Fits contours of face very well. Has the classic Papa Recipe Honey scent – I personally didn’t like it but I got used to it. Very cooling on skin, no irritation. Lot of extra fluid in packaging which I applied to decollete area.

Kept on for 20 minutes, found the mask was drying out by then.

After removal : Skin literally looked brighter, no redness, not much fluid left on skin but my skin did feel a bit dry and had to apply moisturizer soon after removal.

Following day : Same results as after removal, skin looked bright! But felt weirdly drier than normal?!

Where I purchased it? Cost?

I bought this in Hong Kong at Sasa but it retails for around $2.50-$3 USD online.
