Unique Ingredient/Material :All-Natural Coconut Gel Mask : they claim that this holds 10x the amount of moisture than a cotton mask and is made from fermented coconut juice.

Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil : Olive Oil has been used since 4500 BC! This oil is not only healthy to digest, but it is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids, Vitamin A, E and antioxidants such as hydroxytyrosol, which help to protect the skin from free radical damage. I even read about it’s benefits with lightening stretch marks and pigmentation with regular use – cool!

Pros :

  • Attractive packaging, easy to tear open
  • Lots of leftover fluid in the packet
  • No perfume or smell
  • No irritation or tingling
  • One size sheet mask
  • Adhered to face very well and contoured well
  • Hydrating, brightening and lighter hyperpigmentation spots

Cons :

  • Two protective layers surrounding sheet mask that is tedious when applying
  • Did not sit very well – had some creases over upper lip area
  • Retail price is $$

My Review :

⅘ stars.

Packaging : Attractive yellow and olive green theme in keeping with the mask. Easy to tear packaging. Easy to understand instructions with graphics provided.

Product : Very thin sheet mask. Needed two protective layers. First layer you peel off after removal from packaging then apply to face and then remove outer layer. Not a fan of having to peel off the upper and bottom layer of the mask – whilst I appreciate that this offers better protection for the mask itself, it was tedious to find the layers to peel off. Did not sit very well – had some creases – excess mask over upper lip area. Plenty of essence to apply to body. Plenty of serum – packaging states “ a full bottle of botanical extract – packed serum”. It felt comfortable on the skin and adhered so well to skin that after 30 minutes, need to peel the mask off as it is so stuck to the skin. No perfume or smell. No irritation/tingling sensation.

The mask was kept on for 30 minutes.

After removal : Brightens the skin, could still see the results the next morning although very slightly. Did minimize the visible dark spots and reduced the pigmentation. Skin did look refreshed and not so tired and dull looking. Very hydrating – was no essence left on the skin to pat in but skin felt hydrated and comfortable.

Following day : Skin felt hydrated, very slight brightening effect remained. I felt like my skin looked clearer, more even skin tone.

Where I purchased it? Cost?

I purchased this mask at Winners for $14.99 CAD for 10 masks. It retails for $6.00 USD.
