If you want to know more…
Begin with the most basic step of all. Purity Made Simple one-step facial cleanser is an award-winning cleanser that melts away dirt, oil, and makeup. It tones and lightly hydrates in one simple step for skin that feels perfectly clean and comfortably balanced. Formulated for all skin types and gentle enough for the sensitive eye area, it deep cleans pores while natural oil extracts help condition skin.
Unique Ingredients :
(directly taken from Sephora’s website)
Sodium Lauroamphoacetate : Acts as a mild surfactant that gently cleanses the skin without irritation or residue.
Meadowfoam Seed Oil : Lightly hydrates the skin leaving the skin comfortable, not pulled or tight.
Sodium Trideceth Sulfate : Pulls dirt, debris, and makeup from the skin and dissolves them.
Twelve-essential Oil Blend (Including Rosewood, Sandalwood, Sage) : Helps soften, soothe, and rejuvenate the skin.
My Review :
Packaging : It comes in a plastic translucent container with a lid. The container is easily compressible so that the product can be dispelled through the lid. It has directions for use and an ingredient list on the back.
Product : The cleanser itself is off white in colour and creamy in consistency. It is quite viscous in nature. It does have a scent (likely a mix of the essential oils) – it does not bother me but may irritate some. It applies smoothly and glides around the skin extremely well (both on dry and damp skin).
I really have loved this cleanser and I’ve gone through so many bottles of this especially during medical school. It is extremely gentle and can be used for all skin types. I like that it removes makeup, including eye makeup, but also cleanses my face without stripping it of its natural oils – there’s no tight puckered feeling after cleansing. It can also be used on dry skin or damp skin. I’ve always used it on damp skin and really enjoyed using this product. I would highly recommend it to anyone new to skincare or starting off exploring cleansers – this is a good simple cleanser !
